No experience required! Hands-on instruction!
Learn what to do when someone has overdosed on opioids, including prescription pain medication, fentanyl, or heroin.
For: Residents of the Swillburg neighborhood & members of Artisan Church
Ages 13 – 100+!
This session is limited to limited to 25 participants.
Participants may also register for our CPR Training session at 1:45pm, if spots are available.
Session 1: 1:00pm - 1:45pm Narcan Training: opioid overdose prevention and response
• Presented by Monroe County Department of Health
• Includes a presentation describing opioids, the opioid addiction crisis,
prevention, harm-reduction, family and addict resources, and how to administer
Narcan (naloxone) in response to an overdose.
• All participants will receive a free take-home bag including a 2-dose supply of
Narcan, informational material, and more!
